Assessment

The use of technology in assessment is not limited to the automated marking of examination scripts at the end of a course. There is a case for using technology to assess student learning as the students progress through a scheme of work. Tangible evidence of an individual pupil's learning can enable courses to be more easily reviewed, with technology providing the means to do this without over-burdening the teacher.

Mr C Curry, the Director of E-Learning at Congleton High School, has put together a number of resources for the enhancement of learning that could engage students and potentially reduce teacher workload.
